Do I have to assemble the scooter?

Your scooter will come to you mostly assembled and with the battery pack mostly charged. 

What we tell folks is that after you’ve opened the box and read the instructions, set the battery pack in place, installed the seat and the basket, the scooter is ready to ride right off of the cardboard box!
