Service is provided several ways. First of all, we utilize the manufacturer’s nationwide network of dealer/servicers, of which we are one. So for example if you lived in Jacksonville Florida, we would be the servicer for your scooter. There are about 12,000 of these dealers across the United States. About half of them are storefront locations, that sell and service scooters, perhaps you’ve even visited one to look at scooters. The rest are folks who work from their homes, have toolboxes and parts that they carry with them and come to the customer.
You might know that most of the scooters are modular in their construction. You might not know that they self-diagnose too. If there’s a problem, they will sound or blink a series of codes that can tell us exactly what wrong with the scooter. Then we can just send out the module that’s not working.
For the battery pack, we have a national contract with a company called Interstate Batteries. They have locations all over the US. If your battery is not holding a charge, a nearby Interstate Battery location will send you a special double walled carton and a FedEx return label. You will put your battery pack in that carton. The battery pack will come back to the interstate battery location. They’ll service it and then return it back to you.
