As with all other medical power mobility scooters, the Drive Medical ZooMe Flex and Auto-Flex scooters are both equipped with a drive/neutral lever. However, on these two models, the drive/neutral lever is located underneath and to the rear of the scooter. To access the drive/neutral lever on these models, it's necessary to turn the scooter upside down.
The drive/neutral lever is marked with a red plastic covering.
As with most other scooters, the most common reason for the scooter generating a flash code is because the scooter is in the neutral mode. The console on this scooter contains a bank of rectangular LED's. The left-most LED's glow red, the next glow yellow/orange and the right-most LED's glow green. In the event the scooter displays a flash code, ALL the LED's will blink the code.
As with all other scooters, the #1 reason for a scooter generating a flash code is because the scooter is in the neutral mode. Moving the lever to its other position will cancel the flash code and allow the scooter to be driven.
